Liberty High students present $299.85 from cookbook to Stillwater Center

Students from Liberty High School’s Youth Build program presented a check for $299.85 to the Stillwater Center on April 28 after creating a caregiver cookbook to raise funds for the facility. Joel Carson said the classroom project gave students an opportunity to "learn firsthand about its operations and the services it provides to the community."
The presentation highlighted a partnership connecting students with Montgomery County services for individuals with significant developmental disabilities. Commissioners Carolyn Rice, Mary A. McDonald and Judy Dodge posed for photographs with the students and thanked Carson, the students, and Stillwater Center staff for their work and community engagement.
