Board approves training and event attendance; schedules Feb. meeting

The board later approved staff attendance at a separate set of trainings and meetings (Jan. 21 Feedlot Webex; Jan. 22 WCA training; Jan. 30 LeSueur Policy meeting; Feb. 3 Area 6 Chair’s meeting; Feb. 4 I90 Soil Health Tour) on a motion by Randy Feist, seconded by Neal Mensing; recorded affirmative votes were Anderson, Bell, Feist and Mensing.
Board members expressed support for holding another joint board meeting with the county and set a date for the SWCD Christmas party; the next regular board meeting was scheduled for Feb. 11, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. in the Ag Center conference room.
