Jeff Hubbard, representing Human Resources, reviewed recent board appointments and reported on open positions for health boards. The commission approved the appointment of Ronnie Booker to the Owen Salt Creek Board to complete a term and reappointment through 2029 as recorded in the minutes.
Hubbard noted upcoming insurance open-enrollment meetings for county employees and proposed adding language on rehire seniority to county policy; commissioners scheduled that policy discussion for the Dec. 9 meeting. No substantive policy change was adopted at the Nov. 18 session.
