Jackson County purchases perpetual license for addiction documentary to support recovery services

Commissioner Drew Storey moved to approve the $3,500 purchase of the perpetual license; Commissioner Andrew Stauffer seconded the motion and the board voted unanimously to approve. Hubbard told the commissioners the film “will help raise awareness” as Jackson County advances its recovery services.
The license grants the county access to the original film and the alternative versions for educational and law-enforcement use. The expenditure was recorded in the minutes and approved for immediate implementation by county staff.
