High School Principal Irving Smith told the board that family conferences are scheduled Dec. 1 and 2, and that the school will distinguish between staffing and walk‑in conferences. He said the high school will hold a recognition assembly for students, clubs and athletics and invited the board to a Band and Choirs Winter concert on Dec. 15.
Smith reported he is nearly complete with a first round of classroom observations and described visits to the Tiger Way store and mentorship activities with Alisa Weddle. He said the FFA plans to make 220 wreaths for the legion to place in the cemetery and will sell others as a fundraiser.
