Dean Park resident urges city action on recurring flooding and unreliable pump station

Burgos said of the pump: "the pump station rarely meets the demand." He also said a lowest-elevation house in the neighborhood is owned by an investor, is routinely flooded and then quickly re-rented, and that these recurring conditions contribute to the local flooding problem. The board acknowledged the resiliency issues discussed in the presentation and said the plan and future budgets would address stormwater and resiliency as part of priority investments.
