Joyce Fancher chosen as board chair in annual Tonasket School Board reorganization

Joyce Fancher was re‑elected board chair at the Tonasket School District #404 board meeting on Nov. 25, 2025, after a nomination from board member Jennie Wilson. The board recorded roll‑call votes in which Jennie Wilson, Joyce Fancher and Rac'qel Plank each cast votes in favor of Fancher.
Jennie Wilson also moved to nominate Rac'qel Plank for vice chair and to nominate herself (Jennie Wilson) as legislative representative; both nominations passed by recorded vote. The board recorded the officer selections during the annual reorganization portion of the agenda and entered the meeting’s regular business thereafter.
