County to accept aging and victim-services funds; board approves $22,000 colposcope purchase

The county approved appropriating funds and purchasing a colposcope for the Cornell site at a listed cost of $22,000.
During discussion, a member asked whether the advisory council had notified the attorney general; staff said the group was registered only with the IRS and not as a New York business entity, so the AG's notification requirements did not apply in this case.
