Town manager reports $600,000 in uncollected taxes and $600,000 in uncollected utilities; $1 million school payment due in June

Town Manager T. Marsh provided the Selectboard with a third-quarter financial update, saying the town currently has approximately $600,000 in uncollected property taxes and approximately $600,000 in uncollected water and sewer utility bills. Marsh cautioned that the town will face tight cash flow in June when a $1,000,000 payment to the school system is due before the end of the month.
Marsh said staff member N. Culma has been working with M. Williams in the Fire Department to better understand billing and scheduling processes. No board action was taken; the report was informational and followed by other agenda items including upcoming Dump Day scheduling on June 13, 2026.
