Commissioners appoint and reappoint members to county planning and zoning bodies

Jason Duff of Bloomingburg was appointed to the Fayette County Rural Zoning Commission for a five-year term beginning June 1, 2026. The board re-appointed Dennis McCoppin and Jeff Sollars to three-year terms on the Fayette County Planning Commission beginning June 1, 2026; Glenn Rankin was re-appointed for a three-year term commencing June 1, 2025. Additionally, Luke Bihl of Mt. Sterling was appointed to the Fayette County Planning Commission for a two-year term beginning April 1, 2026.
Each appointment motion passed on roll call and the appointments will be reflected in commission rosters filed with county records.
