County approves landscaping and mowing contracts, plus related service proposals

The Fayette County Board of Commissioners approved multiple contracts and proposals for grounds maintenance on March 30.
The board authorized a contract with Kile Landscaping to maintain the landscape at the Destination Outlet Mall entrance for a total of $5,175. Separately, the board entered into a mowing and landscaping agreement with Maggard's Nursery covering multiple county properties from April 1 through Oct. 30, 2026; the contract specifies a weekly mowing total of $515 and a seasonal landscaping total billed once per season of $895. The county also accepted Maggard's proposal to apply six rounds of lawn fertilization and weed control at the courthouse for an estimated $570 and a $440 proposal to slice-seed the prosecutor's office lawn.
All contract motions passed by roll call and the full contracts and proposals are on file with county administration.
