City reports canal clearing, engineering progress and sandbag distribution after storm

City engineer Randy Koslow said the $14 million-plus G2/G11 grant is a federal reimbursement grant and that engineering for those projects is proceeding; staff received 60% plans for internal review. Staff also said they would make sandbags available from a city stockpile at 26th and Hibiscus (10 bags per household) while monitoring next week's forecast.
