Lincoln Parish committee approves agenda, hears consultant presentation and adjourns

The Lincoln Parish Economic Development and Planning Committee convened on March 10, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. in the Police Jury Meeting Room in Ruston. Chair Logan Hunt presided; members present were Greg Williams, Glenn Scriber, Chris Garriga and Annette Straughter. Greg Williams delivered the invocation.
Committee business began with a procedural vote. Annette Straughter moved to approve the agenda and Chris Garriga seconded; the motion carried with recorded YEAS from Williams, Hunt, Scriber, Garriga and Straughter. Chair Hunt then called for public comments on agenda items and later opened a general public comment period; no members of the public addressed the committee during either call for comment.
The committee received a presentation from Mr. Mike Causey of Hunt, Guillot and Associates, LLC on a long-range transportation plan; no action was taken on the plan during this meeting. With no further business, Annette Straughter moved to adjourn, Chris Garriga seconded, and the motion passed unanimously. The minutes were attested by Parish Administrator Courtney Hall and Committee Chair Logan Hunt.
