Police Jury signs off on financial reports, requisitions and a $2,621.04 pumper-truck repair requisition

During its June 23 session the St. Helena Parish Police Jury acknowledged receipt of the monthly budget-to-actual comparison and financial reports prepared by Sibley & Newell, CPA, and approved checks written after the last regular meeting totaling $257,698.82. The motions to acknowledge the reports and to approve the checks were carried unanimously by jurors present.
The jury also approved requisitions as presented by the purchasing agent, the Employee Accruable Benefits Report, and the Fuelman Report; those items were moved and seconded by jurors as recorded in the minutes. On an addendum, jurors approved a requisition for pumper truck repair in the amount of $2,621.04. The minutes list FYI items including meeting submission deadlines and several conference dates and record adjournment.
