At its May 26 meeting, the St. Helena Parish Police Jury approved hiring Anthony Burg (District 1 laborer, $16.00/hr), Morris Franklin (District 5 laborer, $16.00/hr), and Robert Sanders (RBM, $20.00/hr). The Jury also unanimously carried a motion to terminate Tyler Tassin effective immediately.
The Jury authorized the President to execute a one-year Bridge Employment Agreement with the Secretary-Treasurer, effective July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027. Separately, the Jury approved a $1.00-per-hour pay increase for Craig Ricard and Jerome Forbes upon obtaining CDL certification, in accordance with parish policy.
