Auditor contributes $10,000 for IT support; commissioners accept UPS battery quote and local fair contribution

Fayette County Auditor Brenda Mossbarger submitted a Memorandum of Understanding to contribute $10,000 in calendar year 2026 to the County General Fund to support IT services that maintain the GIS server, Auditor's servers and Real Estate Assessment Fund systems; the board accepted the MOU by motion and unanimous vote.
The board also accepted a quote from Reddy Electric Co., estimated at $8,370.00, to replace batteries in the uninterrupted power supply (UPS) located in the IT room of the Radio Room at the Fayette County Sheriff's Office. Commissioners recorded the acceptance of the quote on the minutes.
In addition, the board acknowledged a local contribution of $3,900 to the Fayette County Agricultural Society for the county fair (Senior Fair $1,600; Junior Fair Premiums $800; General Encouragement $1,500). Each item was approved by unanimous roll call and recorded in the meeting minutes.
