No public comments at Troup County FY27 budget hearing; county awaiting GFOA review

Sonya said the county is in compliance with state submission requirements and that the county is "awaiting, our certification of excellence from GFOA," noting that the GFOA review typically takes about six months. The board will consider final adoption of the FY2027 budget at its June 16 meeting.
