Fayette County awarded the 2026 Pavement Marking Program contract to Aero-Mark Company LLC after bids were opened at the April 6 meeting. Jason Little, Fayette County Engineer, recommended acceptance of the low bid of $92,250.00.
“It was moved by Mr. Fleak and seconded by Mr. Anderson, per the recommendation of Jason Little, Fayette County Engineer, to accept the low bid of Aero-Mark Company LLC, in the amount of $92,250.00. Roll call: Mr. Garland, aye; Mr. Anderson, aye; Mr. Fleak, aye. Motion carried.” The board recorded the bid amounts and the engineer’s estimate ($113,975.65) in the meeting minutes; Aero-Mark’s bid was below the engineer’s estimate.
The award is subject to standard contracting procedures and any required bonds or insurance prior to work beginning on county roadways.
