Fayette County commissioners approve interfund transfers and additional appropriations

Commissioner Tony Anderson moved to transfer $22,500 to Dog & Kennel, $37,337.50 to Senior Nutrition and $48,587.50 to the Commission on Aging; Commissioner Donald L. Fleak seconded the motion, which passed on unanimous roll call. The board also approved an appropriation of $150 to the Ohio Election Commission and additional appropriations including $10,000 for Board of Elections contract services and $8,370 for 911 Communications supplies.
Officials characterized these actions as routine budget housekeeping required to fund ongoing services for county programs.
