Troup County proposes $669,030,526 FY2027 budget; adoption hearing set for June 16

The presenter said the budget materials were advertised in the LaGrange paper on May 20 and that printed copies were made available at LaGrange Memorial Library, Hogansville Library and the Hawks Library in West Point, as well as on the county website. Sonya told the board she had incorporated recommendations from the May 12 work session and updated revenue estimates based on tax office information. The hearing was opened to public comment and no members of the public spoke, so the board closed the hearing and adjourned for the night.
