Emergency Services presented an operational update and the committee awarded a professional services contract to Tetra Tech, Inc. to develop the county’s Multi-Jurisdictional All-Hazards Mitigation Plan in an amount not to exceed $99,660. The contract effective date is April 14, 2026, through project completion, and the motion carried with seven ayes.
The committee also authorized permission to apply for a New York State Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services (DHSES) grant for hazard mitigation planning and plan updates in a minimum amount of $150,000; the permission to apply was recorded and the motion carried.
