County awards hazard-mitigation plan contract and seeks DHSES grant funding

The contract effective date is April 14, 2026, through project completion, and the motion carried with seven ayes.
The committee also authorized permission to apply for a New York State Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services (DHSES) grant for hazard mitigation planning and plan updates in a minimum amount of $150,000; the permission to apply was recorded and the motion carried.
