The committee approved amendments to two School Resource Officer contracts to reflect updated hourly rates for part of the 2026 period. The Attica Central School contract was amended to an hourly rate of $66.42 for Jan.1–June 30, 2026 (MUNIS Change Order #3133), and the Letchworth Central School contract was amended to $67.39 for the same period (MUNIS Change Order #3135). Both amendments were tied to the prior approval of the Deputy Sheriff’s Collective Bargaining Agreement and were carried by motions recorded with seven ayes.
School representatives (Letchworth Central School Superintendent Campbell and Attica Central School Dr. Kiel Illg) participated in the discussion, which included questions about invoicing methodology for SROs and which taxing jurisdictions are responsible for portions of the cost. Sheriff Linder suggested billing at a lower rate during the discussion recorded in the minutes.
