The Selectboard approved transferring a list of town accounts from M&T Bank to Mascoma Bank because M&T is closing its Windsor branch in June. The accounts named for transfer included the Autumn Moon Fund; Paradise Park Checking Fund; Town Clerk Restoration Fund; Revolving Loan Fund A; Friends of Recreation Fund; Trust Fund; HRA Fund; General Fund; MyRec Fund; and the Municipay Credit Card Fund. M. McNaughton moved to transfer the listed accounts; H. Prebish seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
The board also approved designating Natalia Culma and Tiffani Bosaw as authorized signers on the transferred accounts. During discussion E. Caffrey asked about differences in account types and T. Marsh confirmed the town already holds accounts with Mascoma and that the move is intended to keep banking local and seamless. "Motion passed unanimously" was recorded after both approvals.
The minutes do not include detailed account numbers or terms with Mascoma; town staff will carry out transfers and update bank-authority records.
