Fulton County authorizes filing of CDBG PY2026 applications; limits set at $500,000 per project

The Fulton County Board of Commissioners adopted Resolution 2026-308 authorizing the county to file applications for CDBG PY 2026 Critical Infrastructure funds to the Ohio Department of Development and directing the board president to act as the county's official representative. The resolution states requested CDBG assistance may be "not to exceed $500,000.00 per project."
Nikki Reese of MVPO told the board that the Ohio Department of Development had asked whether Fulton County wished to pursue CDBG Flex funding for a Senior Center access road off E. Leggett St. She said, "The CDBG Pre- Application was submitted July last year and if the board wants to keep the project, she will get the CDBG Application prepared." Commissioner Jeff Rupp responded that the county remained interested in proceeding with the project.
The resolution notes that participation requires compliance with ODOD guidelines and assurances; no project-specific funding was approved in the meeting beyond authorization to apply.
