Commissioners allocate federal funds to cover major road bids; county share set for another project

For the 3.5‑mile project south of US Highway 160, the low L & M Contractors bid was reported at approximately $593,112; Commissioner Mills moved that the county pay $269,000 toward the bid with federal funds covering the remainder, Commissioner Roe seconded, and the motion passed.
