The board noted that the cap has been adjusted only once since 2007 and that a temporary Executive Order removing the cap during the COVID-19 pandemic aided staffing continuity.
The resolution directs the clerk to forward copies of the board’s support to the Governor and state legislative delegation. The board carried the resolution without recorded opposition.
