Nearby residents warn proposed subdivision would strain H D Greer Road infrastructure

He said traffic has increased since a nearby Target opened and warned that adding roughly 90 parcels would overwhelm current road and drainage capacity.
Edwards asked the city to accept responsibility for road improvements and to widen the road to modern standards, saying county and city disagreements over maintenance have delayed fixes. Other residents echoed concern about minimum home sizes and property values if the development proceeds without significant infrastructure upgrades.
