Iron County board names bank, investment account, official newspaper and sets meeting schedule

Roxanne Lutgen moved and the board approved designating Chippewa Valley Bank as the county’s daily operating bank and the LGIP as the county’s investment institution, citing favorable interest rates and diversification benefits. The motion was seconded by Joe Pinardi and carried unanimously.
Karen Lauer moved to name the Iron County Miner as the official county newspaper; the motion was seconded by Roxanne Lutgen and carried. The board also adopted Roberts Rules of Order (motion by Paul Mullard, seconded by Jamey Francis) and set its regular meetings to the last Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. (motion by Jamey Francis, seconded by Joe Pinardi). All motions were recorded as unanimous.
