Commission approves three conditional-use renewals for short-term and rental homes

Zoning Administrator Josh Falk presented three conditional-use permit renewals at the May 4 meeting and commissioners approved each by separate resolution. Resolutions 2026-16, 2026-17 and 2026-18 renew a short-term rental at 24043 Nehring Branch Road (filed by Rhonda Nehring), rental houses at 24192 Volland Road and 24134B Volland Road (agent Patty Reece for The Volland Foundation), and a rental property at 910 Main in Alta Vista (filed by Garrett Moses). Each permit was extended to remain in effect while the listed owner retains ownership.
All three permits had been unanimously approved by the Planning Commission before the county vote. Commissioner Boyd Davis made the motion to adopt each resolution, with seconders listed in the minutes; every resolution carried on a 3-0 vote. The county recorded the addresses and owner names as part of each approval; no additional conditions or amendments were noted in the meeting record.
