Chair Patricia Sullivan told the Board a media release has been issued to encourage applications for Behavioral Health Board vacancies and reported that one applicant has been vetted and is ready for interview while a second applicant is undergoing vetting. Sullivan said additional applicants are expected and that the County is coordinating with the County Office of Education, local high school districts and districts in American Canyon and St. Helena to support recruitment.
Member Liz Marks said two community members—Alyssa Fisher Harris and Hannah Housley—expressed interest in applying. The Board plans to distribute a finalized list of candidate names at the next meeting.
