During the Director’s report on April 8, Jennifer Yasumoto said the Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) is funded through a $3.3 million BCHIP grant and that construction is expected to be completed in August 2026.
Yasumoto said staff will coordinate site visits because of ongoing operations at the project location. Assistant Director Joe Hallett added that other BHSA planning items remain open for public comment and review, including the BHSA Three-Year Integrated Plan, which is available for comment through May 1 with a public hearing scheduled for May 13.
