The Ward County Commission voted on June 16 to award three road reshape and graveling contracts for multiple township roads. The awards were: Lighthouse Trades, FXTA 0051(064) PCN 25002, $534,616.95; Farden Construction, FXTA 0051(065) PCN 24999, $453,332.00; and Farden Construction, FXTA-0051(063) PCN 25000, $370,775.00. The motion to award the contracts was moved by Commissioner Schuler and seconded by Commissioner Merritt and passed by roll call.
Highway Engineer Dana Larsen appeared for the item and the awards cover reshape and graveling for specified miles in Spencer, Elmdale, Carbondale, Ree, Rolling Green and Vang townships and include culvert replacement where noted. The combined total of the three awards is $1,358,723.95.
