During other business the commission approved the minutes of the May 4 meeting on a motion by Commissioner Nancy Hier with Commissioner Boyd Davis seconding; the motion carried 3-0. The board reviewed and signed expenses from April 23–May 6, 2026 and credit card charges from April 2026.
Chairman Jim W. MacGregor reviewed and signed abatements for tax year 2023 totaling $2,632.06; tax year 2024 totaling $2,220.00; and tax year 2025 totaling $2,212.60, a combined abatements total of $7,064.66. At 10:41 a.m. Commissioner Hier moved to adjourn until Monday, May 18 at 9:00 a.m.; Commissioner Davis seconded and the motion carried 3-0.
