County attorney flags rising software fees; court clerk plans server replacement in 2027

County Attorney Tim Liesmann presented a $146,215 2027 budget request and told commissioners he anticipates a significant increase in software fees in future years. Liesmann did not quantify the expected increase during the May 11 meeting.
District Court Clerk Amy Kristen presented a $124,500 2027 request and said the District Court server will be replaced in 2027 using the Equipment Reserve Fund. Kristen cited increases in maintenance of machinery and equipment and in CSO expense as drivers of the request.
