Committee begins drafting guiding principles for Greater Rigby Area plan

Kristine Warner highlighted a recently adopted county tool intended for farmland protection, noting the Agriculture Protection Act is a recorded deed restriction that can protect land from development for 20 years. Committee discussion ranged from whether commercial development should be clustered to how to balance housing density near city services with preserving open space and canals that traverse the area.
