The council ratified Officer Simeon Pavlov as the fifth trustee of the Lantana Police Relief and Pension Fund Board at the Feb. 24 meeting. Town Clerk Kathleen Dominguez said the appointment was made by the four existing trustees at their Feb. 5 meeting and recommended council ratification under section 14‑79 of the town code. The council moved, seconded and approved the ratification; the mayor announced the motion carried 5‑0.
Clerk Dominguez said Officer Pavlov’s prior term ended in late January and the trustees reappointed him for a two‑year term expiring Feb. 24, 2027. No public comments were made on the item during the meeting.
