Caplan said the distribution formula remains the same and that the agreement is contingent on the county reimposing the tax and municipalities approving the same agreement.
Council moved and unanimously approved the renewal, authorizing the mayor to execute the agreement and any amendments; Caplan said the town does not expect meaningful revenue changes since distribution is based on lane miles and population. The agreement will maintain funding for paving and maintenance programs dependent on the county action.
