Public commenter seeks clarification on Title I funds, Resolution 24-55

Commissioner John Rowell said the County Court made an update to Resolution 24-55 during its April 15 County Court meeting and that work on the resolution was ongoing. Later in the meeting Preston added that "the USDA Forest Service doesn't manage wildlife" and noted that Wallowa County had passed a resolution regarding wolves; the committee did not record a verification of those assertions during the meeting. Committee and staff members discussed whether public commenters must provide their names; Melissa Eethel and Laurie Stinnett said the public need not give their name, while Judge Hamsher said a naming rule could be required if applied uniformly and explained by the chair.
