Lantana proclaims National Library Week; library launches April giveaway

Mayor Mary Lithgow read a proclamation at the March 24 meeting designating April 2025 as National Library Week in the Town of Lantana, noting libraries' role in providing broadband access, training and community programming.
Bailey Maxwell of the Lantana Public Library said the library will celebrate April 6–12 and encouraged residents to renew or sign up for library cards to enter a prize drawing. "If you come by the library anytime during the month of April and renew your library card or sign up for a new one, you will be automatically entered into a drawing for a grand prize," Maxwell said, and thanked the council and staff for ongoing support of library programs.
