Councilors praise staff and prior decision on Integra project, say political risk paid off

A speaker introduced by the mayor as Max told the council, "when this project first came forward ... I brought you the ordinance to change the density back, that's what put you in a position to actually be able to negotiate," and later said, "I told you at the time it had some risk, but I think it paid off very, very well." Councilors noted the importance of public outreach and staff follow-through but did not take formal action on development policy at the meeting.
Separately, one council member suggested exploring more regular movie nights and working toward a more permanent, easily deployed screen to reduce recurring rental costs; the idea was proposed for further consideration rather than immediate action.
