Cass County OKs consulting contract for MS4 stormwater permitting

The Cass County Commission on May 20 approved Resolution 26-46 to contract with Lubert Engineering (Christine Lubert, PE, d/b/a Lubert Engineering) to provide professional consulting services for the county's MS4 stormwater program.
Valerie, a county staff member who presented the item, said the consultant will ‘‘help us through that process, make sure we're getting our annual reports done correctly, we're doing our monitoring correctly and all that.’’ She said the work is intended to get the county aligned with new permit requirements. The motion carried by voice vote, recorded as "3 votes for, 0 against."
