The Castle Pines chamber executive briefed council Tuesday on a renewed partnership with the city to promote local businesses, marketing and events and urged a coordinated approach to help brick‑and‑mortar firms access loans, grants and permitting information.
The chamber director, introduced by staff as the chamber executive, said the organization will partner with the city on nearly 20 large events this year and already contributes marketing and volunteer coordination. She urged the city to add clear business resources, including licensing and permitting steps and links to county and state programs, to a shared website so owners can easily find help.
Councilors and chamber representatives discussed urban renewal authority (URA) opportunities and a proposed local hashtag campaign to raise awareness of downtown businesses. The chamber said it supports the city’s ZIP‑code effort and offered to help educate property owners and tenants about URA tools to attract investment.
Council members encouraged continued outreach and suggested additional coordination with nearby chambers and county economic development programs. The chamber will remain on the city’s agenda for ULDC participation and for work on business outreach.
