On April 27 the St. Helena Parish Police Jury unanimously approved a temporary shift to a four-day, 10-hour workweek for parish employees. The schedule runs from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday, effective May 4, 2026, through September 4, 2026; the motion was made by Mr. Ryan Byrd and seconded by Mr. Jule C. Wascom.
