Board approves $1.99 million in bills and payroll for February–March

The NICE Community School District Board of Education on March 17 approved General Fund bills totaling $1,233,304.88 for the period Feb. 17–Mar. 14, 2025, and February payrolls of $753,145.35, producing total disbursements of $1,986,450.23. The motion to approve the payments was made by Chad Korpi and supported by John Grove; the motion carried.
The board also accepted the Treasurer's reports showing general fund receipts of $3,440,233.65 and disbursements of $1,678,332.68. The minutes record a Debt Retirement Fund balance of $250.00 and a Sinking Fund balance of $632,826.26 as of Feb. 28, 2025. These financial approvals were taken under the consent agenda.
