Superintendent Bryan DeAugustine reported several facilities and safety items to the board on May 19. He said the district will pursue an ARS Sinking Fund Project Bond Sale and described planned changes to the ARS dismissal process, saying the district will place extra staff and secure additional areas during dismissal.
DeAugustine also noted recent emergency response legislation affecting district planning, an NMU English and science update, and a schedule to refinish a gym floor. The minutes provide no dollar amount for the bond sale or timeline for the gym refinishing; the board accepted the superintendent’s report as presented.
