Councilman Charles Conaghan later requested item #3 (the June payment of claims) be removed from the consent agenda for separate consideration; the Council voted to remove the item and then approved the June payment of claims by motion of Conaghan, seconded by Simpson. The motions and roll-call format were recorded in the minutes.
