Sedgwick County accepted a one‑year quote from UKG (Telestaff) for $74,320.69 to provide advanced scheduling services for emergency medical services, Fire District 1 and the sheriff's office. County staff said the system integrates with payroll and HR systems and helps manage 24/7 staffing needs across those departments.
"UKG Telestaff provides advanced scheduling services for emergency medical service, fire district 1, and the sheriff's office," the presenter said when recommending the quote. A board member described the software as "a very valuable tool for those 3 departments to manage the 24 hour 7 day a week staffing, keep things organized." The motion to accept the quote was moved and seconded and carried by roll call.
Board members noted the renewal reflected a standard annual price increase compared with prior years; staff confirmed the increase is modest relative to prior multi‑year locked rates. The contract term was specified as Jan. 1, 2025, through Dec. 31, 2025.
