Secretary Nathan Gabhart told the board he had previously misstated the county's solar zoning rules when speaking with constituents and clarified the ordinance remains as written: solar fields cannot be installed within 2,500 feet of existing property lines.
Gabhart said he would provide corrected explanations when speaking with residents. The commission made no changes to the ordinance at the Feb. 24 meeting.
