Following an executive session on Nov. 3 about contract negotiations and personnel matters, the Selectboard voted to authorize Selectboard member Charlie Hancock to approach Aldrich & Elliott seeking a bid for construction-phase engineering services on the municipal wastewater project. The motion was made by Daniel Khan, seconded by Suzanne Dollois, and passed 4-0-1 (Leanne Barnard abstained).
The minutes show the board explicitly reserved any board action to open session, consistent with the Robert's Rules guidance recorded in the minutes: "Any action taken by the board will be made outside of Executive Session in an open meeting." This authorization is a procurement step to allow the town to gather construction-phase cost proposals and advance project planning.
