Airport manager: fuel sales up, hangar B rented and maintenance work underway

The Daviess County Board of Aviation Commissioners on Feb. 12 heard the airport manager report that "fuel sales are off to a good start for the new year." Airport Manager Erica Burkemper told the board that Hangar B has been rented for the year by Belt Tech/Chris Kimball and that the tenant in T. 15 will clear out by the end of the month so the airport can offer that unit to the waiting list. The board reviewed financial claims and records and had no questions.
Burkemper also briefed commissioners on recent operations and maintenance: staff responded to a late-January snowstorm, performed tree and brush clearing along Oil Road and the taxiway, replaced cameras under warranty, and had Lents Locks on site to rekey Hangar J and Hangar B so both match one set of keys. The board held a brief discussion and accepted the report.
